The ASL is under the extension function arm of the Institute of Chemistry. It is primarily a teaching and instructional laboratory of the Institute for the chemical instrumentation courses and other chemistry courses where instrumentation is a requirement. The ASL extends its analytical services to both government and private customers.

ASL carries out its testing activities in a manner that meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The ASL was granted its first ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation in May 2009 and was renewed in June 2014.

 

 

REQUISITION SLIP FOR CHEMICALS AND GLASSWARE

1) Schedule of signing forms for instrument use:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 1:00 - 5:00 PM

2) For analytical balance and toploading balance use (ASL Premises):

Mondays to Fridays - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

No need for signature. Just ask Jacki or ASL staff for access.

3) For special schedule, asl ASL Staff for arrangements.
